I can tell you what alignment is alignment is every single commercial team thinking about revenue i do not care what your website visitor number is today and that it grew by 50% i do not care what your email open rate is i do not care what your like client NPS score is really great metrics they show you good performance they're there for a reason love it it doesn't matter alignment is when your teams when your marketing BDR sales customer success teams all think about the bottom line revenue and how you're going to get to your quarterly and yearly goals together if you have a lot of sales coming in but it's going down the drain with the customer success uh team not I don't know like getting retention or not getting the renewals or whatever it is you're not being aligned if your sales team has to work extra hard for lead pipeline generation because they don't get any leads from marketing and that's not helping them focus on actually closing the deals that get the revenue you're not aligned it's very simple if every single team is focused on revenue that's how you know you have alignments companywide.
