No I don't care about metrics i don't care about metrics the way to create alignment along the entire company is by focusing on one thing and one thing only which is revenue hitting the number hitting the quotas hitting the goals because when we talk about forecasting and goals for the entire year it's not a one man job it's not the sales team just like paddling and like sweating it out for like to to hit the quote out they can't hit the quota if they don't have the pipeline they they it it's a team work and when we think about like how marketing can get aligned with sales marketing it doesn't matter what your website visitor number is what your open rates are if you the pipeline is not there if your end goal is not generating pipeline that converts qualified pipeline I mean then you are not in alignment if your CS team is not worrying about how to upsell and expand existing accounts to be able to bring something to the table in terms of revenue generation not just retention retention is really important and it's one of the core functionalities of how you get to your number but also upselling and cross-selling and expanding all of those different accounts to be able to bring something to the table when it comes to revenue generation that's how you get alignment having everybody think about hitting the number hitting the revenue goals and that's the only thing that really matters.
