Class 17: Speed in RevOps
Transcript
Hello, friends. Welcome to a tradition. Unlike any other, this is the REVOPS MBA with Brian Kreutz.
Yeah, well, I think, I think speed is. Very misunderstood as it relates to rev ops and actually just businesses in general. People think speed is building more and more things. They think it's building more floors of, you know, the, the tower, instead of, you know, reinforcing the foundation. And so, when I think of speed, Um, it's, can I focus a bigger percentage of my time on the delivery, the training, the adoption of something, so that when I move to the next thing, I don't have to go back. And so my my previous example. When I move on from and try to look at the maybe MQL to SQL conversion rate. They are still stuck in discovery and Bill are trying to figure out why these 2 or 3 kind of slip through the cracks, whereas I'm already focusing my time on the adoption, and making sure the process is smooth, the leads are getting followed up with, with the right, you know, messaging, and that we're moving them through the sales process with the least friction possible. And so, when I talk about speed, I'm not talking about moving on to the next thing quicker. I'm talking about moving to the next phase of the project quicker, and to me, that is spending the adequate time on discovery, doing the build, but focusing the majority of time on delivery and measurement and adoption, because that's where all the, you know, uh, benefits come into play.
