Go-Live Phase
Transcript
Hey, everyone. I'm Sam. I'm the Facebook team director partners. And until now, we have been, like, discussing about the marketing drop spot migrations. This is, like, the last part of the series. Highly recommend that. You can view that and get, like, an idea, like, what we have been, like, discussing and, like, how do we wrap up once you have, like, done building all those assets and then, you know, like, gone, like, you need to know life. So what what factors needs to be taken into consideration before just, like, pushing that final button? Pushing the final button, like, can be, like, a little bit anxious. It's a huge responsibility. You are, like, shutting down one system. Going live with other system, the team may not be, like, trained on that. But, yes, these are the things that you need to be considered before that so that when you are, like, approaching that, you're gonna close that in that way, like, a structured way. And it doesn't, like, make mistakes at the end. And, like, you're gonna learn proper mistakes. So let's see some of the steps involved in it. I'll share my screen. Here's the thing. Now over here, obviously, the going live, there's like two things which is go live and then decide the cutover plan, which is, okay, this is the date which I want to like cut over and which is basically everything will be stopped inside the marketer and everything will be like live and set up. Or maybe you can do it in via phase approach. Okay. Maybe 30% of my process will shut down from market top, and then all of that would be, like, live in setup. The way to do that is these are certain forms from where I, like, received, like, this percent of the traffic. So let's stick down their live inside HubSpot, and then this much of that, let's be, like, live back via, like, an HubSpot via, like, a market only. So you'll have it in normal functionality. But again, like, those couple of approach have it pros and cons, obviously, like, the later way suggested more, which is, like, doing a drastic cut over and then everything having life inside of support. So you don't have to, like, do, like, an import export every time, and you don't have to deal with managing a couple of platforms. So here's the thing, like, with go live plan, there are, like, certain aspect we needed to be considered is, like, obviously, those are the things. When you, like, set up your marketing hub, just get done with the landing pages, publish them live. If you have done with the HubSpot, you need to, like, inside, like, an HubSpot forms within your website. Make sure to track the comp that tracking code in your, like, an website tracking code. And if you have marketing emails, make sure to publish that inside, like, a marketing emails. Check everything, your personalization tokens aspect and everything, and make sure to update that based on upstart warning and predict. Make sure to update your email structure, headlining, footers, and all those things. And then let's suppose if you have a workflows, make sure to turn that on. Now you might be, like, aware of the workflows. Workflows has this thing with regard to enrollment and enrollment settings, so consider that. So I have every step listed out and every step I assigned that task for it. So if I am, like, trying to do, like, a tracking code, who will do that? Is my partner team is willing to do that? Is my, like, technical team do going to do that, or would it be, like, I will be doing that? So I can create, like, a checklist and put, like, in every checklist or categorize those process, and I can assign, like, these metrics to that. So maybe if you want, like, you can follow that structured approach. And then once you have done that, obviously, one of the major thing with regards to that is, like, considering the export import plan. So, obviously, like, the export import plan should be, like, considered reaching near to the cutover plan because that is when you can, like, extract all that database, like, historical details is coming and then, like, import that back. So you don't have to, like, do that multiple times. So that's that. And then a major and the challenging part, which is like connecting like a training of this particular platform, because again, like, it's a huge change. It's like not one platform changes, like a huge process change and those related things. So consider that and like in connect like in training. Here's like how I approach it. So this may look like if you are like an upstart, if you're using upstart for a while, you might think, okay, is this is, do we like really need to go into these details? But yes, I would recommend let's go into each details because it's like very overwhelming when you are coming from this particular different platform to this platform. So here's how I would start because I would start with, like, in managing the HubSpot campaigns because that is the way they are, like, used to inside that, like, they manage programs. So maybe start via that, like, in HubSpot. At HubSpot campaigns, you can show them how to create, how to update that, and, like, how to add related assets to the marketing campaigns. And then maybe start with, like, all those, like, managing marketing assets. So, again, like, the reason why we are, like, approaching this week is mainly because they're coming from a, like, a marketing platform, and this is where, like, they kind of, like, manage, like, multiple things. So, like, moving with an active list, what's, like, an active list and starting list and those kind of a things. So those are, like, the basics of, like, in trainings, which kind of, like, needed to be considered. So, again, just going live, you need to consider some of the checklist items, which I've been covered. And if you are, like, doing the training, make sure to, like, keep in mind your target audience because they are, like, putting their training in the market doing that way and then, like, training that via that way to the HubSpot. And then the last thing is obviously the cut over plan. So cut over plan can be overwhelming, but, again, if you have all these things covered, if you have a date in mind, it should be, like, smooth enough for you because you have, like, in confidence, we perform the scenario testing. We did every testing and then we, like, can follow the structured approach. So you should have, like, a confidence to approach that.
